And a mention, remember the reemployment update? Where I am owed for those flood payments? A hearing was suppose to be schedule etc. The DEO ”referee” cancelled the hearing. She could not win.That money is legitimately mine. 

The system prompt me to reapply for 2024 . I reapplied last week but this year just started so of course I wouldn’t qualify for new payments for the year of 2024. Those other payments from a few months ago are still due to me. And so this has to be addressed.

Real estate fraud and identity theft.

Reemployment payments that are still due to me. I sent this letter today.

OPEN LETTER to Florida lawmakers, city council, mayors, commissioners and residents.

RE: Update on an open letter sent to your offices, regarding SQUATTERS on my properties and DEO reemployment benefits.

Dear: Florida Lawmakers

Happy 2024 New Year! I hope this new year brings us all the best. 

This letter is a brief update on the situation of squatters occupying my properties and identity theft of my mother’s name, brothers’ and sister’s names. 

If you would remember, I mentioned my trust fund and assets are tied up in this fraud. My primary resident at 5279 JAMBOREE PLACE MARGATE, FLORIDA 33063 has been fraudulently sold with a forged signature. This fraudulent real estate transaction will have to be reversed. I think it is important to share this information with the public, hopefully this sharing of information will prevent this type of fraud from happening to others.

These identity thieves are of course refusing a DNA test and so and the legal process is being initiated. It is necessary for me to raise money and so that was the purpose of the gofundme fundraiser.

I did start or restart employment with Saks Fifth Avenue. 

Along with this situation, there was the situation of my reemployment benefits not being sent. I did qualify and was approved for these payments. Workers at the DEO erroneously put an overpayment on my account from the Covid-19 payments from about 2 years ago. Governor DeSantis issued an OVERPAYMENT WAIVER to address possible over payments. I did receive this waiver. DEO workers decided they were not going to accept the Governor’s waiver for Covid-19. The reason given by a DEO worker was “the Governor can’t waive over-payments because that’s federal money.” I did relay this information to the Governor’s office. 

If you would recall, I did contact your offices in order to expedite the process, the claim was sitting idle and unprocessed for about 3 months. The reemployment payments were not sent out in time and I could not pay the storage fees for that month. I had to move my belongings into a second unit and pay the fees the following month. Thanks to GOD, I was still able to start the new position.

While addressing this DEO situation, a Florida lawmaker extended the date for me to apply for the emergency flood relief payments (approx. June 2023). In addition to the regular reemployment payments, I also qualified for these payments since I own a company; “Lauderdale Beach Yoga, LLC ” this company is registered on Florida SunBiz. I am a Certified Yoga Instructor and I teach Yoga on Ft. Lauderdale beach. These are seasonal yoga classes. My season for classes starts after the winter. The weather conditions at the time, the excessive rain and flooding certainly did affect and delay when I could START THE YOGA CLASSES for 2023.

A worker (Margret Mahoney) at the DEO decided to deny the claim. 

She sent me an additional form to fill out. This was the form for employee/employer. This was the wrong form. The system automatically generated the sole proprietor/self employed form for me to fill out for Lauderdale Beach Yoga, LLC. This is the form I filled out on the DEO website through my account.

Ms. Mahoney decided to override the system’s generated form and send me the EMPLOYEE FORM through her email for an EMPLOYER to fill out. I explained to her, with Lauderdale Beach Yoga, LLC I am SELF EMPLOYED and I am the listed contacting officer. The DEO system already had my company; Lauderdale Beach Yoga, LLC listed and me listed as self employed at this company. The system generated the self employed form and asked me questions accordingly. I have a tax ID number and this company is registered with the State of Florida.

I was also employed with two different retailers, this was calculated on the previous claim.

Ms. Mahoney decided to ignore the system’s generated form and questions. 

She decided to override the system with the wrong form. 

I again brought it to her attention that she was using the employee/employer form for Lauderdale Beach Yoga, LLC. ”I thought you could get an office manager to fill out the form.” She said. An “office manager” would not be my employer for Lauderdale Beach Yoga, LLC. So I informed her; I can not fill out this form. It was obviously the wrong form and the DEO system did not generate this employee/employer through my account. And so I told Ms. Mahoney; any form you would like for me to fill out, please route the form through my DEO account.

Also, I mentioned to her, you may have a look at my previous website, at www.youcanrunwithlilah.wordpress.com the new website will be at LauderdaleBeachYoga.com. coming soon.

She claimed (according to the wrong form she sent) that it was not proven that the flood interrupted my “employment”. The system’s question for me was: were you NOT ABLE TO BEGIN work because of weather conditions i.e. flooding heavy rain?

This DEO adjudication worker also claimed that a Florida lawmaker can not extend this emergency flood application date, although it was the fault of DEO workers not following rules and policies that has created this halt in payments. Why didn’t these workers accept the Governor’s Covid-19 waiver? 

I couldn’t apply for the flooding payments because a DEO worker illegally halted payments for the regular reemployment from Covid -19. That situation was being addressed. I really didn’t have an overpayment, still this Covid -19 waiver would have addressed that situation. 

Payments still have not been sent to me. About 3 weeks ago, I received a phone call from a DEO worker (Ms. Gallen) informing me that she received a call from the Legislation affairs office regarding my claim and that I could file a DEO appeal.

Now DEO workers have scheduled a hearing on JANUARY 5, 2024 and these workers are planning to say that they are not accepting the Covid -19 waiver, and that Florida lawmakers can not extend the application date. Also, these workers want to go back into a previous claim and REVERSE THE APPROVAL, attempting to create another false over-payment.

I’ve heard rumors of these workers “not wanting to see claimants get this money.” Money that is rightfully due to Floridians, legitimate employees who separate from companies operating in the State of Florida. Claimants are already dealing with a loss of income and to have to deal with DEO workers who are jealous and bitter over claimants receiving payments… Such individuals should be flushed out of the system.

These DEO payments are still due to me.

And so to recap   

1. Squatters are on my properties and will be removed.
2. DNA testing is available to address this form of identity theft.
3. Legally and rightfully these DEO payments are due to me.

I just finished filing the appeal for the DEO payments that are due to me. Even though I am working with a company, those DEO payments are still due to me. I was approved and deemed eligible, I qualified for these payments. The right thing was to file an appeal because an error was made. The Governor issued a waiver for Florida claimants/residents and DEO workers decided they weren’t going to accept this waiver.

I have a registered Florida business, LAUDERDALE BEACH YOGA, LLC of which as a Certified Yoga Instructor, I provide seasonal Yoga classes in the spring and summer. Weather conditions would certainly interrupt my beach Yoga classes. I qualified for regular reemployment payments and DUA payments.

So this appeal is in progress.

I happened to have voted for Governor DeSantis twice but it really doesn’t matter who Florida residents voted for, the DEO has to carry out written, legal directives from the Governor’s office.

In the State of Florida we have a lot of excellent legislators, they have inspiring backgrounds. If you read their bio’s on Florida’s counties and municipalities websites you would be surprised of their many accomplishments and skills. Inspires you to do more in your life.

We will straighten out this real estate fraud/identity theft. You may read the letter on the right side bar, regarding this situation.

I want all of my inheritance; Real estate, land, all properties, brokerage accounts, assets etc. My brother Ahmed and niece, my sister Sherema’s daughter O’livia has 1/3 of this inheritance money.

This is the townhouse, part of my trust fund. This is an investment property, I would have never sold this property nor would any of my family member sell it. This property was paid for in cash (without a mortgage) on my behalf and put into my trust fund. Right now, it would generate at least $2,500 a month.

It has already tripled in market value, since it was purchased by family using my gift money. It also holds sentimental value for me.

I would like to see the individuals THEIVES using my mother’s and siblings identities. I want all of this made public, out in the open.

I have started sending out emails for my fundraiser. I’m on gofundme.

I’m new to fundraising. Fundraising takes time. I raised $40 so far but ZERO dollars raised through gofundme.

It’s important that I share this story. I don’t know how relatable this situation is, how many families have this much wealth legitimately? At first I didn’t think it was a lot but people grow up in different environments.

There are supposedly a lot of wealthy families but much of their wealth is tied to a public entity.

How many families have a PLANTATION in their history?

I can buy ours back.

So you know, I really can’t complain. People don’t really have to donate. It is the families who really have assets who need to read my story.

I’m happy with everything GOD gave me, so I’m not complaining.

I forgot to mention 3 new bridal mask were also stolen, in addition to the other items that were stolen or damaged.

One of the mask looked similar to this one. They were handmade. One had pearls sewn into the lace.

Since mask are no longer mandated, I put them away unused. Very pretty, don’t you think?

I’m working on fundraising. Two days ago, when I thought about my fundraising efforts, I had a very good feeling.

I have the company Lauderdale Beach Yoga, a fitness and nutrition company. Services; yoga, Pilates, weight-loss counseling and more. We have Ardyss, Herbalife products, etc.

This fundraising is a community cause. Look what happen in my case; I’m dealing with identity theft and real estate fraud. Where is Mr. Marten? What happen to his wife and daughters? How much money, real estate, assets are involved? Millions.

No offense, but I notice, people from poor families cannot fathom owning 2 or more homes, with the mortgages completely paid.

It’s hard for them to imagine, owning just one house with the mortgage completely paid. They understand paying on a mortgage for a few decades. But they cannot imagine beyond that point. If they can even qualify, financially to pay on a house.

Do they care about being fit, healthy, owning real estate? Maybe they just want food and a bed, like I have heard some of them profess. Well, everyone is different.

What is the highest salary for a gov. worker/welfare recipient? less than 200k after 40 years of service.

No doubt our two families are not the only two families these individuals have tried to steal from.

So, I had the idea that I should combine Lauderdale Beach Yoga, LLC with the Fundraising. The company would benefit and the community would benefit. I can fund raise through my company.

Companies are “living, breathing” entities in communities.

I can do community service through my company.

I can share my story and hopefully prevent this theft and fraud from happening to other families who own real estate, land, assets etc.

GOD willing, I will be good at this.

I was at the beach for Yoga set up over the past couple of days.

I expect to be there over the next several days. It is beautiful on Ft. Laudedale Beach. Warm and picturesque.

Warm, bright blue, salty beach water. Topped with frothy, soft, little white waves. But supposedly a storm is coming, hurricane Idalia, category 1 or 3, apparently the category changes. It is not expected to hit here in South Florida but further North, the Northern part of Florida.

I hope, pray that all the people who believe in GOD are safe and secure; their persons, families and property.

Hurricanes are common in Florida. This is normal weather for people who were born in this State.

And so, I expect to be at the beach over the next few days.

Come out and see me. There is Yoga sign ups for the Yoga classes, the classes are taught separately for males and females. We intend to have a Sunday family class, parents can bring their children.

Right now we are only doing sign ups for the men’s classes. This is Yoga with kettlebells. There is a brief application to fill out. We do screen.

This is a beginners class. An introduction to Yoga. Classes are only 20 mins.

Beach Yoga classes are gratis for the community.
